VP/Chief Marketing Officer
Missional University seeks an experienced marketer who will oversee the advertising & marketing operations and digital marketing assets of the university. The CMO collaborates with the President, the Provost, and others on the Executive Team to ensure that these processes enable the university to attain institutional goals. The CMO is responsible for overseeing the development and management of marketing technologies, media & communication, the Missional University Press, and online university bookstore. The CMO is also be responsible to lead the Global Marketing Team. Applications are accepted until the position is filled. Oversee the advertising & marketing operations
Oversee an integrative approach to promote the colleges, schools, programs, publications, and initiatives of the university
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of strategic digital assets to drive marketing strategies
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of MU corporate brand identity, social media content, international media content and web content
Publicize the work of Missional University Press as they publish peer-reviewed journals, research monographs, academic reference books, textbooks and paperbacks for vocational and lay leaders
Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure marketing processes meet initial and sustained goals
Continue to develop & implement digital marketing assets
Develop lead generation based on 16 causes for 5 audiences
Use decision support systems including analytics, testing and SEO / SEM / SMO approaches to track and refine digital marketing strategies
Create systems and processes and delegate their maintenance and further development to others
Supervise the staff in the Global Marketing Technologies Group in digital processing services, web development, CRM technologies, and data analytics.
Supervise staff in implementing lead generation processes, merchandising, and utilization of digital assets.
Services the creative professionals in the Global Media & Communication Group as they use their expertise in graphic arts, intercultural media, multimedia, social media, and web development
Oversee the operations of the Missional University Bookstore.

A vibrant Christian testimony
Master's degree from an accredited university in marketing
At least 10 years of progressively responsible marketing experience preferably in college, university or theological institutions
At least 5 years of experience managing and supervising marketing teams
At least 3 years in an entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial role with proven capabilities of innovation and development
